The Nike Air Presto “Origins” Features All Characters From Its Original Ads

The Nike Air Presto, the Swoosh’s “t-shirt for your feet,” has recently emerged in an arrangement that features heritage-inspired graphics from its original ads.

Designed by Monica Taylor, every icon – from “Brutal Honey” to “Shady Milkman” – has claimed real estate on the forthcoming pair. The characters’ placement between right and left shoe varies, but other detailing remains identical. Laces and their cage system opt into a “White’ and semi-translucent makeup, respectively; swooshes on the toe box and “P” logos on the tongue follow suit. Elsewhere, the 20-year-old design, which trades a standard sizing system for one that runs from Small to Xtra Large, nods to its take’s colorful upper by indulging in different-colored sockliners. Neither the greens, reds, yellows, and blue nor the loony characters make their way onto the sole unit. Instead, the proposition’s midsole and outsole combination keeps things simple in “White” and “Black.”
