The Nike Air Vapormax EVO Appears In Grey And Silver Hues

Since first appearing on the scene in mid-November, the Nike Air VaporMax EVO has maintained a relatively uneventful release cycle. Its latest “Wolf Grey/White/Anthracite/Dark Grey” colorway, however, is on its way to changing that.

The Air Max 96 II upper forgoes the tonal “Black” arrangement of the hybrid model’s inaugural ensemble in favor of a greyscale makeup. Breathable bases indulge in a “Wolf Grey” tone while mixed-materials overlays throughout boast shades of “White,” “Dark Grey” and “Anthracite.” Underfoot, Nike Sportswear’s experimental proposition features a robust sole unit, which nods to the Air Max Plus lineage while moving VaporMax cushioning into the future. Most of the supportive structure between the upper and the outsole sports a pristine scheme, while the reworked pod-like technology favors a smokey aesthetic.

A Nike.com release date is still unknown, but this VaporMax EVO is likely to launch in 2021. In any case, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.

For more from the Swoosh, the Air Max 95 “Neon” returns on December 17th.

Updated March 4th, 2021: The shoes are available now at Nike.
