Michael Le Pharrell‘s contribution to 2020 has been expansive to put things lightly. Alongside a newly launched skincare line, the artist has put his foot on the gas of his adidas collaborations, releasing standouts en masse throughout much of the past season. And to close out the year, the collaborative NMD Hu will be launching in its Green colorway exclusively at ComplexLand.
Running from December 7th to the 11th, the event — which would typically be held in large, sprawling venues — is now being relegated to an online, virtual medium, losing much of the magic but less of the product. During, adidas will unveil the previously unreleased offering, with pairs able to be won by way of raffle. To enter, the attendees must download the CONFIRMED App and be on the lookout for crates (entry points for raffle) during the brand showcase; after the initial sign-up on December 8th at 10am ET, winners will be announced promptly at 12:30pm ET on ComplexLand’s last day.
Design-wise, the arrangement is not too dissimilar to its predecessors. Along the upper, a Primeknit coats in green, contrasted marginally by its cages and laces whose shade is far more neon-tinged. Under, the Boost dresses to match the weave, while black outlines the inner lining and light threads the Vietnamese embroidery.
