The Nike Zoom Type “Smoke Grey” Goes “Swooshless”

The Nike Zoom Type “Smoke Grey” Goes “Swooshless”

As if it wasn’t experimental enough, the Nike Air Zoom Type has recently followed up official images of a sherpa and jewel-covered ensemble with the launch of a “Smoke Grey/Volt/Black/Dark Grey” option void of standard lateral swooshes.

Akin to previous iterations, the newly-surfaced pair indulges in a tonal color scheme across its breathable upper. The ostensibly free-hand detailing along the toe box and on the medial profile remain intact, while logos on the lateral side camouflage into their surroundings. Elsewhere, stitching on the heel boast stark “Volt” contrast; Zoom Air units underfoot also revel in the high-vis flair, whereas the layered midsole courtesy of Nike Sportswear’s N.354 label borrows the upper’s greyscale palette.

While no details of a stateside launch have emerged, this Air Zoom Type proposition is currently available at Nike.com webstores across Europe.
