The Nike Air Vapormax EVO Joins The Evolution Of Icons Collection

Though newly introduced, the Nike Air Vapormax EVO has quickly gotten itself into its very first pack of releases, namely, the “Evolution of Icons” collection. Following the earlier reveal, the model is set to alternate its past contribution, flipping the darker tones for a much lighter, more versatile palette.

Where navy once dressed, white now sprawls, covering the forefoot in near entirety. Even the molded overlays follow the same neutral treatment, matching that of the laces above as well as the lining, counter, and collar behind. Doses of color only arrive by way of the accents, with the Swoosh and mudguard the most reserved in their layers of metallic silver and black, respectively. The topmost eye stay, then, contrasts in a bronze finish, setting the tone for the bits of yellow below at the tread and the orange up top along the heel pull; adjacent, a muted blue and teal come into play, the latter applied across the branding while the former along the instep’s leather reinforcement.

Grab an official look at these right here and expect to find them at select retailers and Nike.com within the coming months.

In other news, BAPE is bringing back the original three BAPESTAS.

Updated March 1st, 2021: A release date has been scheduled for March 26th, 2021.
