Nike’s “Labelmaker” Pack Extends To Two Daybreak Type Colorways

Nike’s “Labelmaker” Pack Extends To Two Daybreak Type Colorways

Nike has been revisiting their own archives and experimenting with embossed labels to craft its “Label Maker” pack, bringing old school aesthetics to classics such as the Air Force 1 and the Nike Challenger. Label maker-like branding and other throwback elements has now landed on two new offerings of a fittingly vintage-inspired model—the Nike Daybreak Type SE.

While one of the arrangements is an oatmeal pair that sports bright-colored accents alternating between the left and right shoe, the other is dressed in a much more subdued black and white color scheme. One of the most obvious changes is the “Label Maker” branding utilized throughout the collection, where white text is embossed on a blue base as an unexpected, sticker-like detail. Another notable difference is the weathered swoosh on the side of the beige offering. The cracked effect further establishes the throwback look Nike aims to deliver, as with the big “NIKE” logo exclusive to the heel of the black and white pair that flaunts a similar effect. Nike reuses the exaggerated logo from 1986’s Big Nike High to decorate the Daybreak Type SE, as another instance of the brand tapping into their own history to create new propositions.

Both pairs will be available at the retailers listed below, with release date details coming soon.

In other news related to the Swoosh, the Air Vapormax EVO has joined its very first pack of releases.
