The New Balance 992, Formerly A Concepts Exclusive, Is Dropping In Wider Quantity Soon

There haven’t been many overnight superstar stories like the one written by the New Balance 992. When we reported that this running model was poised to make a comeback in December of 2019, the response barely cracked the newswire. Fast forward to December of 2020, it’s a strong candidate for sneaker of the year. GRs and collaborations have been in insanely high demand alike, and brand marketing teams and even resellers will undoubtedly look back at the 992’s 2020 performance to dissect just how it struck lightning.

That said, 992 releases come and go insanely quickly. One that will surely garner the attention of newfound NB loyalists is this teal/purple/red colorway, formerly a Concepts-exclusive that dropped when the Boston boutique launched its newest (and largest) store. While a total departure from the muted tones we typically expect from the silhouette, collaborations with Joefreshgoods remind us that loud pops of color do just fine on the model as well.

A release is coming to New Balance and retail partners soon for $180.
