Ahead of its 30th anniversary, the Nike Air Max 90 emerged in a close-to-the-original construction. Throughout 2020, the silhouette has donned several notable colorways, with the latest being a “Obsidian/Summit White/Midnight Navy” reminiscent of the New York Yankees’ uniforms.
Premium, mixed materials across the upper indulge in shades of deep blue. TPU accents along the tongue deviate in a grey palette, which also takes over the Air Max unit enclosure at the midsole. Detailing elsewhere – laces, profile swooshes, “NIKE AIR” branding – further contrasts the “Obsidian/Midnight Navy” with its “Summit White” arrangement, creating a proposition perfect to pair with the Bronx Bombers’ colors.
