Though 2020 was dedicated to the Air Max 90, 2021 is an entirely new year, up for grabs by any of the line-up’s notable few. And, if some more recent reveals are any indication, we may see the Air Max 1 take the reigns thanks to its upcoming set of “LV8” upgrades.
Following its “Dark Teal Green” and “Martian Sunrise” colorways, the Air Max 1 LV8 will be dressing up in a versatile “Obsidian” scheme. The navy tone can be found along the entirety of the mudguard in a polish due most in part to the premium sourcing. It’s used even further along the Swoosh, eye stay, and branding, accenting atop a base that shades in white and grey similar to the silhouette’s OG roster.
Grab a detailed look at these here, and though it seems they’ve already launched at select shops, we’ll likely see a wider release at Nike.com and select retailers soon.
