The Nike Waffle Racer Crater Hits The Dark Side Of The Moon

The Nike Waffle Racer Crater Hits The Dark Side Of The Moon

At the start of 2020, Nike ushered in a whole new collection of sustainable footwear, a range helmed by the Space Hippie series as well as the equally earth-conscious Vapormax 2020. And even near the year’s end, the brand has kept up with its aims for zero as they continue to unveil further iterations of the Waffle Racer Crater.

Relative to the colorways previous, the pair here is far more understated, intentionally so. Black colors in the entirety of the top half — swoosh, suede paneling, synthetic, etc. — with no interruptions. Only the textures and stitching stand out against the neutral palette, calling attention to themselves in satin-like sheen and aggressive zig-zag embellishments. Below, the tooling then quickly steals the spotlight thanks to its recycled construction, one made up of many a colored scrap.

Grab a detailed look at these here and expect a release to arrive at Nike.com within the coming months.

In further Nike news, the Jordan Why Not Zer0.4 was officially revealed.
