Nike Officially Unveils Paul George’s PG 5 Ahead Of January 21st Release

We’re gonna have to call Paul George “Supermax P” from here on out after he secured an insane bag from his team this shortened offseason. Despite falling short of the heady yet reasonable expectations of an all-LA Western Conference Finals and Finals appearance, the Clippers have decided to secure the services of the small-forward for the next five years, which means that many of his remaining signature shoe model debuts will come matching with Clippers threads.

Today, Nike quietly unveils the PG 5 in a rather no-frills black/white colorway. It features the same Nike Air Dot Weld Strobel seen in the PG 4 while keeping consistent with a lacing system for foot lockdown and a multidirectional tread pattern. Quite honestly, we’re going to need to see more colorways because these are a bit too simple, but Nike typically has some energetic concepts to stir up excitement for the launch.

Expect the Nike PG 5 on SNKRS and Nike Basketball retailers in North America on January 21st.
