Nike Revisits Alphabet-Detailing With The Zoom Freak 2 “MVP”

Nike Revisits Alphabet-Detailing With The Zoom Freak 2 “MVP”

Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t leaving the Milwaukee Bucks for at least five years after signing the largest deal in NBA history, which means he’s poised to continue the ring and MVP chase with the Eastern Conference team for the foreseeable future. For the forward’s latest Nike Zoom Freak 2, his previous “Most Valuable Player” accolades are being honored in a “Desert Sand/Sail/Camellia/Gym Red” colorway accompanied by alphabet lettering.

The mixed-materials upper indulge in an understated “Desert Sand” while its profile swooshes, pull tab on the heel and rear paneling deviate from the unassuming tone. Instead, these overlays and accents boast a combination of scarlet, citrus, yellow and blue hues, with the lettering across the heel donning every color. Support ridges on the lateral forefoot further partake in a light blue makeup, while the sole unit underfoot reverts to a faint tan composition. Decoupled outsoles designed specifically for the “Greek Freak’s” signature euro-step round out the pair in a “Sail” tone.

Enjoy official images of the next Nike Freak 2 here below, and expect pairs to arrive on January 22nd, 2021.

Updated January 8th, 2021: The US release date is tentatively set for January 22nd, 2021.
