Faded Spraypaint Detailng Appears On The Nike Blazer Mid ’77

Airbrushed styling has been a go-to trend this year, generating numerous statement-making pieces. They have even bled their way into the footwear scene, as demonstrated by the upcoming Air Force 1 that features a Swoosh softly outlined by a hot pink spraypaint-like effect. A similar design appears in royal blue on the Blazer Mid 77, as another instance of the Nike design team tapping into current streetwear trends to release new offerings.

An otherwise all-white leather arrangement, the pair uses royal blue to trace the side swoosh and paint it in halfway in a gradient that mimics the look produced by a spraypaint nozzle. A patent leather strip and the Nike branding on the heel see the aforementioned blue shade, while the tongue label opts for a lighter hue to create its gradient. With the sparing use of the spraypaint effect and a simple white base, the Swoosh manages to deliver a subtle take on a bold trend.

The Blazer Mid 77 will be available at the retailers listed below soon.
