Kung Fu Panda And Reebok To Release A Full Footwear Capsule On January 15th

During the animation boom of the late 2000s, DreamWorks produced hit after hit, rivaling Pixar with films like How To Train Your Dragon, the ever-memed Bee Movie, and much more. But out of their entire library of productions, few were as exciting and entertaining as Kung Fu Panda, a universe that has spawned multiple sequels, a few video games, and now even a shoe deal with Reebok. The capsule is to arrive almost five years after the debut of the series’ third entry. Ostensibly, the breadth — which spans the Club C to the Instapump Fury — celebrates an impending fourth movie, each thankfully alluding little to any important plot points.

The Club C is prepared in two cosmetically modified varieties. The first is dressed understated, with tonal Chinese calligraphy marked over top the white frame; the next, in departure, takes its complement’s patchwork insides and applies it to the exterior, the panels thus alternating from a light hemp to dark suedes, light blue toe caps, and branch-adorned reds.

While the aforementioned more so celebrates the setting, the Instapump Fury honors the titular lead, Po. Underneath its inflating bladder, black and white is found all throughout, a few of the accents textured in a way similar to faux fur. Alongside, ornate markings create an aesthetic near traditional, complementing the branded hits at the counter as well as the mid-fight pose of the tongue button’s graphic.

If you’re looking to purchase any from the set, they’ll be skadooshing their way to Reebok.com and select retailers on January 15th.

UPDATE 1/6/2021
While global retailers will be releasing the Kung Fu Panda collection on January 15th, Reebok.com will be dropping their pairs much earlier on January 8th.
