adidas Adds Eastern-Influenced Illustrations To The Ultra Boost 20 For Chinese New Year 2021

adidas Adds Eastern-Influenced Illustrations To The Ultra Boost 20 For Chinese New Year 2021

As adidas wraps up the start of the new decade and begins looking towards 2021 and beyond, the sportswear behemoth has begun revealing some of its plans for the forthcoming Chinese New Year. Among its propositions, the Three Stripes has added a handful of Eastern influences to the beloved Ultra Boost model.

Unlike some previously seen options, the forthcoming pair indulges in a predominantly “Core Black” styling. Profile 3-Stripes, however, interrupt the dark tonal scheme with their “Gold Metallic” gradient; heels don’t feature the same shimmering detailing, but boast “Collegiate Purple” accents around an illustration of an ox, the zodiacal animal of the upcoming lunar new year. Underfoot, midsoles and tread revert to the “Core Black” makeup, while BOOST visible from the outsole maintain their standard white look.

Enjoy official images of the celebratory Ultra Boost 20 here below, as you wait for a stateside adidas.com launch before February 12th, 2021.
