The Undefeated x Nike Air Max 97 Appears In UCLA Colors

Earlier this month, Nike INC. announced their multi-year agreement with UCLA Athletics, one that ensured the brand would be the sole provider of footwear, apparel, and equipment starting first thing 2021. And to commemorate such a partnership, it seems we’re to see a number of Bruins-colored releases, including a Dunk Low and even this collaborative Undefeated x Air Max 97.

Similar to the pairs released just days ago, the offering leads with the streetwear imprint’s namesake. “Undefeated” is sprawled across the side profile in perpetuity, filled in white to better contrast the strip of blue that wraps the entire shoe. In parallel, yellow panels finish the nod to the university, with complements at both the tongue and sole only furthering the school pride. Construction elsewhere is far more subdued in tone as both the mesh and leather materials are untreated, left a white to better complement the aforementioned.

Scored with strike logos in seldom, the upcoming Undefeated AM97 should be arriving next year likely at Nike SNKRS.

In more 2021 news, the Dunk High Vast Grey will be releasing next month.

Updated January 2nd, 2021: The UNDFTD x Air Max 97 releases on January 8th, 2021.
