Following the unveiled adidas Dame 7 “CNY”, the Three Stripes has another release on its way to welcome Lunar New Year festivities onto the hardwood. The D Rose 11, one of the brand’s relatively new silhouettes and the latest signature shoe for Chicago legend Derrick Rose, is the next basketball shoe to be clad in a festive color palette, with gold plate-like details.
Adizero textile uppers use a red and black zebra stripe pattern that’s complemented by the vibrant Scarlet seen on the tongue, laces, and graphic elements near the toe. The black Lightstrike midsole is splattered with gold, playing well into the Chinese New Year theme. A Gold Metallic piece sits atop to offer unexpected luster to the design. To complete to celebratory look, a black and red rubber outsole and extended heel counter runs along the base for on-court stability.
The pair will drop on January 22 at adidas.com for $120.
