The adidas Dame 7 “Fire Inside” Launches On April 2nd

Damian Lillard has been playing at an MVP level for at least the last two seasons. And although the current Portland Trailblazer hasn’t been awarded the prestigious recognition, he hasn’t allowed his internal drive to diminish. For his latest adidas Dame 7, Lillard is paying homage to the “fire inside” that has enabled him to be among MVP discussions.

Everything from the textile upper to the tried-and-proven LIGHTSTRIKE midsole indulge in a bold, on-theme “Solar Red” tone. Three Stripes branding across the shoe delivers stark “Core Black” contrast, culminating on the lateral heel and inner lining as part of a printed image of fire. Additional detailing on the insole and tongue nod to Lillard’s “greatness” and “gift,” which may finally win him an MVP award given how consistent the guard has been over the last season.

The Dame 7 “Fire Inside” arrives to adidas.com on April 2nd. While you wait, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
