The adidas A-ZX 8000 “Golf” Features Textured Exteriors, Magnetic Markers, And More

The adidas A-ZX 8000 “Golf” Features Textured Exteriors, Magnetic Markers, And More

Thanks to adidas’ A-ZX series, we’ve been able to witness some of the most creative releases the brand has offered in years. And for their current letter, “G,” the Three Stripes are enlisting the help of OVERKILL to present their golf-inspired ZX 8000.

A faithful and playful homage to the sport, the pair borrows many of its design cues from the golf balls themselves. As a result, the synthetic exterior resembles the balls in both color and texture, etching in a way near identical. This execution wraps the toe, side profile, as well as the heel, dressing adjacent to the black-dyed tongue whose magnetic logos act as a marker on the green. And even when you’re on the street, you’ll never be too far from the course as the insole prints with a vibrant, grassy field of its own.

Finished with neon orange and green soles, the ZX 8000 “Golf” is due to release on April 2nd at select retailers and likely adidas.com.

In other news, the adidas ZX 420 celebrates a different kind of green.
