USA Colors Arrive On This Upcoming Nike Air Max 97 For Summer

With the Summer Olympics finally set to begin in Tokyo on July 23rd, dozens of patriotic footwear is on the horizon. And while not an official part of the Swoosh’s larger event-specific collection, a Nike Air Max 97 has recently surfaced in a USA-friendly colorway.

As with past sneakers prepped for the world stage, the forthcoming pair indulges in a mostly white tone. Synthetic leather mudguards introduce rich navy flair into the mix, and surround a bold red miniature swoosh at the mid-foot. Sole units underfoot maintain a near-identical color palette, but full-length Air Max cushioning forgoes any statement-making hue in favor of an off-white makeup. Branding throughout the remainder of the shoe, save for the spine, indulges in the aforementioned scarlet tone, but a light blue across the tongue and heel garners attention of its own given its stark contrast to the surrounding colors.

Enjoy official images of this Air Max 97 ahead, and anticipate pairs quietly arriving to Nike.com throughout summer.
