YCMC And New Balance Throw It Back To the ’90s With The 992 “Rewind”

YCMC And New Balance Throw It Back To the ’90s With The 992 “Rewind”

When you think back to the ’90s, there’s a lot of great television, music, and fashion to remember. And while some trends have not aged quite as well, there’s certainly a lot worth referencing decades later. YCMC is doing just that alongside New Balance as they craft the commemorative 992 “Rewind.”

Arriving right in time for the Summer, the collaboration lenses the classic through both retro print and color. While the base may be subdued in its use of deep navy suede, the energy very quickly picks up as bright purple and cyan hues complement along the collar and toe. What’s more, to better enliven the “N” logo and branding, the imprint has opted for a touch of highlighter green. Finally, in more overt nod to the era, the laces assort a four-part variety inclusive of black, white, and two patterned options.

In other news, the New Balance 550 Lucky Green is a perfect St. Patrick’s Day shoe.
