New Balance Continues Their “MADE 990 Version Series” With The 990v2

Earlier in the month on June 17th, New Balance officially kickstarted their “MADE 990 Version Series,” an homage to one of their most beloved silhouettes. And almost exactly a month later, the brand will offer the pack’s second installment, moving forward chronologically with this simple, grey-dressed 990v2.

Another step closer to the model’s 50th anniversary, the release is soon to arrive featuring a design similar to the iteration previous. Its premium suedes are dressed in the brand’s signature grey, while the mesh and leather supports underneath opt for shades lighter and darker, respectively. The “N” logo follows suit, backed by a white film that complements both the tooling underneath and laces above. Finally, the pack-exclusive tab sports “Version 2” against a fabric red like that of the heel and tongue embroidery.

For a closer, detailed look at this special offering, see below. Sizes will appear on NewBalance.com on July 16th.

In other news, another Made in UK 1500 is currently up for grabs.
