After being included in the Summer Olympics for the first time, the sport of skateboarding has much to look forward to in the future. Perhaps fan-favorite Olympia skateboarders will soon be getting their first signature shoes. In the meantime, Australian competitor Shane O’Neill is expanding his lineup of Nike SB Shanes with a “Dark Obsidian” addition that is met with vivid hits of Hyper Jade.
This new Nike SB offering sees its suede and textile base adopt a navy “Dark Obsidian” coloring. Profile Swooshes and the SHANE solar branding on the tongue are in bright white for contrast. To brighten up the style, an aqua “Hyper Jade” shade is applied to the plush heel tab and insoles. Furthermore, the rubber midsole opts for a blue tint rather than the usual white or gum brown. Herringbone traction underfoot features a large green Swoosh logo to round out the summery design.
