This new release embraces Japan’s artisanal workmanship by covering the entirety of its uppers in Selvege denim. The classic blue jean materials are complemented by high-quality leather overlays in a near identical shade. ASICS and GEL-Lyte 3 branding on the tongue and heel, respectively, are stylized to mimic the brown tags stitched onto denim clothing. The aforementioned brown also colors the GEL-branded heel tab and the outsole to round out the celebratory design.
