Since its debut back in 2005, AFROPUNK has always been about embracing the free spirit and being yourself unapologetically. These values continue to hold true as the festival showcases its commitment to move the culture forward with ingenuity and resistance through the medium of fashion—specifically footwear. AFROPUNK and adidas continue their “Live the F@%k Out Loud” with their second collaborative style: a bold, never-before-seen take on the adidas Forum.
Dubbed the adidas TRIPLE PLATFORUM, the silhouette flaunts a black supple leather construction and retains signature adidas branding such as the Three Stripes and Trefoil logo on the tongue. White overlays above the midsole create sharp contrast inspired by AFROPUNK’s bold insignia. But the most notable feature is the triple-stacked sole unit in black to create a daring, reimagined classic. Even the campaign features a star-studded lineup of inspiring individuals that include recording artist and Brooklyn Native, Junglepussy, non-binary TikTok content creator, Antoni Bumba, and bionic model and singer-songwriter, Marsha Elle—all photographed by the up and coming Christian Cody who captures evocative images and videos of the young creatives to share their stories.
