Palace Offers Up Two Knit adidas Ultraboost 21s Centered On Sustainability

Palace Skateboards built its name in streetwear for its cheeky humor, mocking the demographic of resellers and posers that also serves as its chief client base. But that hasn’t taken away from the identity of London-based brand one bit, and since its founding in 2009, it continues to discover itself as it matures its voice with the help of itss collaborative partners. In fact, their next project with adidas is an example of just how aware Palace can be.

Their upcoming Ultraboost 21 collaboration captures the modern running silhouette with a knit upper with an artful pattern of distorted lines in both a black and white base. Each feature opaque cages and heel counters and spotted rubber outsoles. Their italicized logo is boldly placed on the swollen heel portion of the BOOST midsole, while their triangle emblem is seen patched on the tongue. Just beneath that is the standard logo of recycling that represents a never-ending circular loop that minimizes waste. This suggests that the upper is potentially made with sustainability in mind.

Currently, the Palace x adidas Ultraboost 21 is scheduled for a release on October 8th, 2021.
