Sneaker News Patta‘s take on the Nike Air Max 1 may be one of the label’s most exciting collaborative ventures in a long, long while. And while its colorway is relatively faithful to the original, the construction itself is far from ordinary, opting for a look more visually befitting the collection’s “The Wave” theme.
Palette-wise, the collaboration errs on the side of familiarity, dressing its nubuck fixtures in a orange shade like that of “Curry.” Elsewhere, neutrals of grey and white variety fill in many of the blanks, the two applied atop the mesh and leather fixtures, respectively. Patta branding, then, rounds out the package at the tongue label, insole, box, and the silver jewelry that accompanies.
