Though a far cry from its Liverpool-inspired celebration, the Nike Air Huarache‘s latest colorway ostensibly pays homage to yet another football team — American football, that is.
The Carolina Panthers seem to serve as the shoe’s inspiration, their team colors reflected throughout the palette. Black is appropriately used more dominantly, dressing everything from the mesh toe to the many leather overlays. A dark grey, then, paints the heel piece as well as the tongue patch whose insignia is filled with a bright blue, rounding out the homage to the aforementioned.
