The adidas Forum ’84 Hi Dons Red Patent For Its Valentine’s Day Outfit

It seems all anyone can talk about right now is patent leather. And this may be due to Jordan Brand, who recently used it for a number of recent AJ1 and AJ1 Zoom CMFT colorways. The excitement has even gotten to adidas, as they’re about to debut the Forum ’84 Hi in the same material.

And though red may take the helm, the lack of black makes it difficult to compare the scheme to any of the Jumpman’s own. Instead, the Three Stripes seem to have drawn inspiration from the collegiate, pairing the loud hue with white across the midsole, lace unit, collar, and branding. These, alongside their difference in shade, opt for a standard leather, further contrasting the gleam and finish of the colored fixtures adjacent.

Enjoy a closer look at this patent-constructed Forum ’84 Hi here, and sit tight as it’s likely to appear on adidas.com soon.

Speaking of patent leather, the Air Jordan 11 Pure Violet is releasing this April.
