Michael Le Valentine’s Day is very nearly here, and it’ll surely creep on you before you’ve made all the necessary preparations. But unlike most people, Nike was quick to start, dressing up many of their shoes in appropriate clothing. This GTS 97 is but the newest of many upcomers, offering lace-like detailing through its profile.
The shoe’s embroidery, which simulates the aforementioned material, depicts a number of romantic motifs. Hearts and roses are spread throughout, their threads raised against a canvas backdrop similar in shade. And this upper, though straightforward at a glance, is made of a textile that can easily be customized, whether that be with dyes, markers, or the like.
