Social Status Announces Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Recess” Release Date

Social Status has officially announced their upcoming collaboration with Nike around the Air Max Penny 1. In continuing their “Free Lunch” storyline in 2021, Social Status now presents the “Recess” collection, once again highlighting the importance of these community experiences that take place in school.

Social Status delivers the Air Max Penny 1 in two ways – black and desert sand. Both feature premium suedes and leathers with interchangeable Swoosh logos depicting the various sports played during the mid-day break. Beneath the patches is the classic Swoosh logo with the electrifying lines from the original. On the heel is the co-branded logo signifying the latest in the Social Status x Nike special projects.

In announcing this collaboration, Social Status also presents the Recess short film directed by the Turner Brothers.

Release info: An online draw for the Social Status x Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Recess” begins on July 2nd, as does an in-person raffle at all Social Status and Whitaker Group store locations. A TWG Discord draw will also be available for members only. The entire collection is scheduled to release online on July 15th, 2022. Both pairs are priced at $190 and are available in Mens 3.5/ Women’s 5 to Mens 15/Women’s 16.5.
