Patta Has A New Balance 990v3 Collaboration In The Works

Patta Has A New Balance 990v3 Collaboration In The Works

When people were still pin-rolling their jeans, runners — such as the New Balance 1500 and the ASICS GEL-LYTE III — reigned supreme. And now, almost an entire decade thereafter, it seems history is beginning to repeat itself, as both of the aforementioned brands are once again receiving quite a bit of attention. Patta, thanks to an extensive series of collaborative offerings, is part-responsible for this, and they’re continuing to support the movement with an upcoming 990v3.

Teased by way of Timothy Sabajo, brother to Patta co-founder Edson Sabajo, the Patta x New Balance 990v3 is a colorful take on the classic sneaker. Along the back, the label’s signature “P” is stamped front and center, sandwiched by “Made in USA” and “New Balance” text. The colorway itself, which is better viewed from the available leaks, is helmed by a light shade of olive. This hue runs across the upper’s suede and mesh fixtures, complementing the bright neon green trims and the predominantly grey finish of the “N” logo, tongue, and midsole.

For a quick look at Patta’s upcoming 990v3, see below. At the time of writing this, a release date has not been revealed. More information should surface soon, however, so sit tight and expect to find updates here as they surface.

Updated September 22nd, 2022: The Patta x New Balance 990v3 is set to release on September 30th.
