The Asics Gel-Lyte III OG Gets Dipped In The Honey Pot

The Asics Gel-Lyte III OG Gets Dipped In The Honey Pot

The Asics Gel-Lyte III received quite the resurgence throughout the sun-filled summer months of 2022, but as the Autumnal season rolls on, the Japan-based brand isn’t quite yet finished delving out brightly toned renditions ideal for strutting through the onset of crisp fallen leaves.

The latest streetwear proposition of the 1991 runner sees a collection of faded suede overlays grace the forefoot in an “Oyster Grey” shading before transitioning into a dark grey offering with a light brown undertone that adorns the black “GEL LYTE III” branded heel counter. An underlying white mesh construction matches the clean and clad midsole with an accompanying black tread underfoot. In an effort to break apart the neutral-hued spectrum dominant throughout, titular golden “Honey” accents fill the stripped logo and lower heel providing the silhouette with a flavorful conclusion.

Sizes of the honey dipped Gel-Lyte III’s are currently available for a retail price of $120 via the shopping links below. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the brands go-to retro silhouette.

In other news, the Nike Dunk Low is preparing for Halloween with a greyscale offering featuring “Green Glow” Swooshes.
