The D. Rose 1.5 Flips Its 2011 All-Star Aesthetic

Now a 15-year veteran in the League that’s guiding the youth movement within The Mecca, Derrick Rose is far removed from his on-court dominance of the early 2010’s yet remains both a prominent and impactful player in the modern NBA. Having served as a testament of courage and strength for over a decade, The Three Stripes has deemed it time for the former MVP’s roster of signature silhouettes to receive the Restomod treatment.

After enjoying an OG Bulls-scheme and St. Patricks Day themed offering, the latest Adizero D. Rose 1.5 is flipping the treatment of seldom “Royal Blue” touches seen on the 2011 All-Star ensemble for a more dominantly colored model.

The aforementioned titular tone bears a glossy finish across the entirety of the model, spare its “Core Black” TPU window panels, sock liner and accented mesh tongue construction. Nylon laces return to the bountiful use of blue where as the dubraes proffer “Silver Metallic” accents in tandem with Rose’s signature and adizero lining of the heel counter. Underfoot, the model is updated with a jet-black Lightstrike midsole that contrasts the semi-translucent Puremotion tread in conclusion.

The D. Rose 1.5 Restomod “Royal Blue” is available now via the store list below for a retail price of $160. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair as well.
