The Nike Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 Skews To Lifestyle With Suede And Leather

The Nike Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 Skews To Lifestyle With Suede And Leather

Although created to be a super lightweight high-performance running shoe for long distances, the Zoom Spiridon Caged 2 was re-introduced to the market with lifestyle in mind, touting its Zoom cushioning and porous, breathable upper for everyday comfort. Leading the way the massively successful Stussy Spiridon collaborations, fully cementing the shoe’s place among other casual footwear options, and we must say – it looks darn good with this focus. Seen here is a near all-black colorway of the Steven Smith-designed runner, but rather than mesh and synthetic materials building up the exoskeleton, it’s a perforated leather and suede instead. Remaining untouched is the outsole, which features the visible Zoom Air encased in a skeletal housing. You can expect these at Nike Sportswear retailers globally in the coming weeks.

In other retro running news, the Air Max 96 II is poised to make its first-ever return in 2021.
