adidas Originals Adds Zipper Enclosure To The Popular Falcon Model

The adidas Falcon has been a huge part of the Trefoil Brand’s women’s lifestyle push since it debuted last year, and as it enters its second summer on the market it’s set to offer some alternate options like this new Falcon Zip. Retaining the retro shape and style that made it so popular but swapping out the normal lacing system for a zipper with a large hangtag, the bold styling combines street sensibility with high fashion flair for a look that’s fresh but inherently familiar. Apart from the zip closure system, the rest of the shoe is no slouch either: the yellow/gold upper combines a durable ripstop base with premium leather and suede accents/overlays, while the normal shimmering triangular forefoot badge is replaced by a flat black version. A crisp white midsole offers a yin to the upper’s yang, and the look is completed by an aggressively-ridged midsole, the likes of which we’ve also seen on other adidas Originals silhouettes like the Yung-1 as of late.
