There’s no denying that the adidas NMD series is one of the strongest offerings from any brand, but adidas is tinkering with the Boost and Primeknit offering for an everyman’s version known as the adidas X PLR.

The slip-on upper features numerous panels that can be directly traced back to the adidas NMD, from the heel to the synthetic overlay featuring three stripe branding. This “Core Black” colorway skips out on the Boost midsole for a simpler, more cost-effective mold while a breathable mesh upper adds ventilation without cutting back on the sleek silhouette inspired by the NMD.
