Cordura Fabric And A Bold Color Scheme Arrive On The New Balance 997S

The New Balance 997S provides a sporty, modernized take on the beloved New Balance 997, and it’s now surfaced in a bold new purple, pink, and turquoise makeup befitting of its hybrid style. Rugged, textured Cordura fabric serves as the base, while a sock-like neoprene makes up the midfoot and a shaggy suede is present on the quarter overlay. More detailing arrives thanks to a textured pull tab that runs the length of the throat and up the tongue, while a high-vis reflective N logo on the midfoot provides the lion’s share of the branded detailing. Down below, the new-jack ENCAP Reveal midsole is dressed in black and accented with a speckled silver print, while turquoise underlays provide more retro flair. With the sturdy construction and powerful color scheme, this 997S offers a look that’s seemingly just as ready for a long hike as it is for an all day street style session, and they’re available now at retailers like Politics for an exceptionally reasonable $120 USD.
