New Balance‘s dedication to premium craftsmanship entered an entirely new realm when they introduced the New Balance Horween Leather Collection. The Bostonian running specialists partnered with Horween Leather Co. for luxurious all-leather renditions of some of their most iconic silhouettes. Now the duo is back for a new collaboration just in time for the end of summer.
Horween Leather’s take on the New Balance 998 sees a brilliant use of bespoke brown leather throughout while just the right amount of white mesh touches to contrast the luxurious build. Embossed ‘Made In USA’ detailing touches the tongue and heel panels. The patented Abzorb cushioning system adds a function boost to the ride for extra comfort.
The New Balance 1300 also gets a ‘Made In USA’ construction, as an ominous black leather upper is accented by tumbled grey accents on the ‘N’ side panel branding. Encap technology creates a smooth, luxurious footbed so that the comfort can feel as premium as this collaborative NB classic looks.
The New Balance Horween Leather Collection is available from select spots like RISE today for $340 USD a pair.
