The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Rayguns” Releases On January 15th

The time-traveling Dr. Funk and his Roswell Rayguns basketball team are heading into 2021 to rep their team colors on some of Nike’s basketball-rooted silhouettes. Joining the roster already consisting of the Air More Uptempo and two Converse models is no other than the Nike Blazer Mid 77.

In true Rayguns fashion, the stitching, tongue, and lateral swoosh see a golden yellow color. The gold swoosh is filled with small sequins for added dimension, much unlike the medial side’s tamer green leather swoosh. For more hits of yellow and green, the signature basketball logo is patched near the heel, similar to the collection’s Chuck 70. Finally, the team’s orange color is boasted by the heel tab and branding on the tongue label.

The pair is slated to release on January 15th at the retailers listed below for $110.

In other Blazer news, a new pair featuring an embroidered pomegranate branch is arriving soon.
