Nike Officially Unveils The React Element 87

The stunning Nike React Element 87 has continuously grabbed our attention since it debuted at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Today, Nike finally unveils this daring new lifestyle silhouette in four colorways, revealing just what went into the design of cutting-edge silhouette. The full REACT Foam cushioning is quite similar to that of the Epic React, only the patterned ridges are larger and more spread apart to relay the shoe’s lifestyle/casual capabilities. Then, Nike looked a shoe-mapping data and literally drilled holes into the sole to add rubber rivets in order to further add to the stability of the shoe’s ride. The upper is comprised of a semi-translucent TPE material (seen in the Zoom Fly SP) with exposed pieces that add to the deconstructed flair. The exterior heel-clip is also a nod to the Nike Internationalist, the brand’s first running shoe to feature that detail.

The Nike React Element 87 releases June 21 on SNKRS in Asia, Latin America and Greater China, SNEAKRS in Europe and at select retailers. The shoe launches in North America on July 13 via SNKRS and at select retailers.
