Sneaker brands have branched out into boot territory more than ever before this year. Not only does every brand have their own ‘real’ boots these days, but most are also applying rugged hiking/workboot construction to their classic models. Take for example the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Leather D-Ring, a shoe that lives up to its name quite nicely. These joints are a bit tougher than your average Chucks, with two toned suede uppers serving as the base for metal hex eyelets and D-rings on the top two. Pairs in brown with red laces and black with blue are both familiar, yet among the freshest sneaker-boots we’ve seen for the holiday season.
