Pharrell’s adidas NMD Hu Appears In Tonal Pink

Pharrell’s adidas NMD Hu Appears In Tonal Pink

Pharrell Williams has had a busy last few months, as the Virginia-native has reunited with Chad Hugo to produce music under the beloved The Neptunes duo, promoted civic engagement throughout his home state and prepped the launch of his Miami Beach-based hospitality venture, the Goodtime Hotel. Yet, the 47-year-old has found time to build with his adidas family. The NMD Hu has been at the forefront of these collaborative endeavors, and it’s slated to launch in an all-pink colorway in 2021.

Although single-colored arrangements aren’t new to the BOOST-cushioned proposition, the forthcoming option delivers a soft aesthetic not commonly seen on the lifestyle silhouette. While still textile, uppers feature a different knit pattern than recent iterations, including the region-exclusive trio that closed out October. Chinese characters on the forefoot nod to the model’s corresponding imprint – Human Race – in a hue that mostly blends into its surroundings. Collars and inner lining introduce stark black contrast, but branded overlays at the heel and adjacent lace netting ensure the pair’s pink statement is loud and clear. Furthermore, EVA plugs along the midsole, BOOST foam and outsoles also partake in the rose palette.

Enjoy official images of this NMD-variant here below, while you wait for pairs to arrive to retailers throughout 2021.

For more from the Three Stripes, the Yeezy 350 “Fade” launches on November 11th.

Updated December 16th, 2020: These are expected to release in March 2021.

UPDATE (11/04/2020):
