Jordan Brand’s next chapter of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG saga pays homage to MJ’s incredible Rookie Of the Year campaign as well as the infamous shirt he wore during his acceptance ceremony on April 30th, 1985. Done up in a fall-friendly Golden hHarvest color scheme, it boasts a number of enticing details, including detached ankle collar flaps – just like Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Jordan 1 collaborations – with Jordan’s ’85 seasons statistics on one side and a quote from his aforementioned speech on the other. A red Nike Air tongue tag offers the only reprise from its otherwise golden brown, white, and black color scheme.
