adidas Readies Two New Takes On The NMD R1 “Japan”

adidas Readies Two New Takes On The NMD R1 “Japan”

Among the special in-line makeups of the ever-popular adidas NMD R1, few pairs boast the esteem of the “Japan” series — a new iteration of which is now set to release soon, in both black and olive. From the lateral side, this adidas NMD appears almost identical to past drops, using an tonal mesh and embellishing the forefoot brick with Japanese characters. However, if you peek at the heel you’ll notice a contrasting stripe. If you follow that stripe around to the medial side, you’ll find this NMD is totally different from the other “Japan” variants: a deluge of text adorns the entire rear half of the Boost midsole, and the band continues its path as well, coming to rest just by the midfoot. Further detailing is provided by the embellished heel tab, and each look is completed with a black outsole. Check out both of these new “Japan” makeups right here, and see a store list below to secure a pair today.
