Nike Remixes The Air More Uptempo For Chicago

Nike Air More Uptempo Chicago Aj3138 600 3
Update: The Nike Air More Uptempo “Chicago” will release on December 20th.

The Nike Air More Uptempo is beloved for its obnoxious, over-the-top design with the large AIR on the upper and the full-length visible Air Max bubbles. It’s perhaps one of the most recognized Nike Basketball shoes in history and despite current footwear trends of monotone, seamless, and knit constructed shoes, people seem to want more of the More Uptempo. Supreme gave the world one of the craziest remixes of the shoes as it replaced the signature AIR detailing on the upper in favor of its name, and it appears that Nike is taking the same approach and honoring the sneaker capitals of America by gracing the shoe with these special cities. First up is Chicago, which gets a red/black colorway with CHI upholstered with satin materials. The shoes are set to release on October 28th, and given the shoe’s premium-level treatment, expect a retail price of at least $185.
