The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Returns On January 18th

In the wake of the “FEARLESS ONES,” there was a point where all we got were Mids, but now that 2020 is finally upon us, it seems the new year has brought with it a brand new set of Jordan releases. With much more further down the road on All Star Weekend — namely a 1985 retooling of the brand’s most beloved — the first Air Jordan 1 High to break in the calendar is a clean black pair that plays subtly with heritage palettes. Holding a very, very loose likeness to some of the most notable, the colorway takes on the signature “Bred” tones with very sparse usage of the more saturated hue. At much of the smooth leathers and perforation-removed satin toe box is a completely darkened shade, bordering that of full mast and a heavily indiscernible grey; swooshes, treads, overlays, tongues, and the like follow along, yet atop the laces as well as the Wings and Jumpman insignia a more fashionable bright red is applied. Grab a detailed look at these right here and expect a release to hit select retailers as well as Nike.com on January 18th.
