Inspired by off-road, trail-ready footwear, the sandal lends itself perfectly for lounging around the backyard or for short errand runs around the city. Two lockdown straps across the mid-foot deliver security and fit customization via robust buckles, while a Vibram® outsole delivers tried-and-proven traction for even the most uneven sidewalk curbs. A mix of mesh and suede make up the bulk of the sandal’s upper, with the heel portion coming in ever-so-slightly lower than the top of the toe for easy entry and improved breathability. Lastly, the “Pigment/Natural Indigo” and “Incense/Chocolate Brown” color palettes that take over the Niobium Concept 2’s latest two styles deliver a less utilitarian aesthetic than a previous collaborative version by Snow Peak did. Nevertheless, all three editions of the slip-on shoe are testaments to NB’s dedication to comfort and quality.
