Sashiko Styling Emerges On This Crafty adidas Forum ’84 Low

The adidas Forum ’84 Low had a successful 2021, and by the looks of it, it’s “soles” are set on continuing that upward trajectory in 2022.

In addition to impending collaborations with Bad Bunny and Prada, the made-for-basketball silhouette has also emerged in handfuls of in-line styles in the months leading up to the new year. While not unveiled as part of any elaborate collection, the latest offering from adidas Originals indulges in a sashiko-like construction that deserves a “special edition” roll-out. “Navy Blue” sets the stage for a handful of Japanese-inspired design cues, with a light brown also joining the mix via the tongue and structural clip wrapped around the heel. Midsole units underfoot boast an “aged” aesthetic that complements the uppers well.

No official adidas.com release date has been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change in the coming weeks. In any case, enjoy images of the pair ahead.

Elsewhere under the Three Stripes umbrella, the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 is set to arrive in all-new colorways throughout 2022.
