atmos Reveals Nike Air Max 95 “Animal Pack 3.0”

Tokyo’s atmos has crafted some of the very best collaborative Air Max in sneaker history. From the “Elephant” Air Max 1s to the “Duck Camo” Air Max 90s, the Japanese retailer certainly has a way with classic silhouettes. Although many of their pairs have established a firm spot in the Swoosh’s cathedral of collaboration, their most famous work may very well be the wild “Animal Pack,” consisting of eye-catching takes on the Air Max 1 and Air Max 95, known for their wild prints and clever detailing. Earlier this week, atmos creative director Hirofumi Kojima took to his Instagram to show off a friends and family pair of the Air Max 1 that replaced the shoe’s black pony hair base with a squash orange take — and now he’s revealed a similar F&F version of the Air Max 95.

Although the toebox and top panel feature an alternate color, the rest of the shoe’s detailing — from the wild animal print-dressed side panels to the herbivore/carnivore inspired detailing on the tongue patch, laces, and air bubble — is left intact, making for an ever so slightly altered but still just as striking take on the safari-ready kicks. As these are indeed a special friends and family colorway, there won’t be any retail release, but enjoy a first look at the special shoes above and stay tuned to our Sneaker Release Dates page for all the Air Max release info you need.
